Wanna Play?

Update 4/4/09*****I wasn't totally happy with the original version when I first posted it...I was kinda just posting it to be posting. pointed out that the black background was swallowing up Nicole's dark features and I agreed...so I went back and made the background a brighter shade. I also added highlights to her hair and shading to the basketball.

Plus, made a comment on what would be a fair game against her...he had mentioned blindfolding her and it got me thinking about her eyes. If she wanted to get her cybernetics to make her a better athlete/fighter, then it would only make sense if she had bionic eyes. However, I don't want to overload Nikki with cybernetics like Simone or Deuce...=hotrod5 suggested giving her just one cybernetic eye and I loved that idea; I've been looking for ways to jazz up Nicole's design a little bit anyways. So in attempts to make Nicole look more like a cyborg, but not overly machine-like...I decided to give her an upgrade with a bionic right eye. I also have decided for her cyber-symbiote to go all the way up her neck as opposed to it stopping at the middle of her neck...I think her upgrades look cool...what do y'all think?********

Here's an alternate version of my UNC Tar Heels Basketball tribute pic [link] This time Nicole's cyber-symbiote is its normal chrome color and she's just looking for someone to play a friendly little game of one-on-one! (Basketball...not what you're thinking ya perverts!) Be warned...Nicole was already an Olympic class athlete before her cybernetic parts and implants were added to her body, now she's damn near unbeatable! Be prepared to get beaten by a girl!

I haven't really delved into it too much with Nicole, but in addition to being a fighter, and current champion, in the Triple F fighting league...Nicole is a star "Blitzball" player. Blitzball is another ficticious organization that I created which combines elements from basketball, American Football, Rugby, Ultimate Frisbee, Roller Derby, and fighting/wrestling all into one sport....that's actually the reason why Nicole chose to undergo cybernetic augmentation; the extreme nature of Blitzball puts an average normal human at a disadvantage...not to mention the dangerous nature of the sport could result in serious injury or death. In order to compete on a competative level, Nicole signed a deal with Tamzarian Industries for them to be her sponsors...in that deal it said that Nicole was to undergo various surgeries and procedures to implement a brand new developmental cybernetic technology, in which Nicole's body has been fitted with and transformed into the prototype model. So far, the experimental cyborg technology has worked far beyond what the developers had originally expected, but they fail to realize that it's not just the cybernetics...it's that Nicole goes extra hard when in competition or in a fight and refuses to lose or come in second place.

When she's not fighting in the Triple F, or running like a madwoman in a Blitzball arena...she enjoys shooting around the rock in her free time and challenging anyone to a game of one-on-one. Since she's been a cyborg, she hasn't come close to losing a game yet!
