Femme Fatales '16

I LIVE!!!!!!!!!!!

Wow...nearly seven months into 2016 and this is my VERY FIRST DEVIATION of the entire year!!!   I started this year off with a hellish art funk coupled with insane busyness working two jobs!  And on the time off that I did have, I was often too tired to focus on art.  I actually started this piece back in March and finished the pencils in April...and have been coloring this for the past almost three months!

Part of it is that I got a brand new computer and Wacom tablet earlier this year as well and unfortunately I couldn't transfer PS CS3 from my old laptop and I can't afford the Adobe CC.  I got Clip Studio Pro/Manga Studio 5 and I think the learning curve of working with a new coloring program after using PS for the past nearly 8 years had me a bit shook, plus I think I was stressing too much to get some art out that I couldn't get anything to go; I don't know why...it's not like my stuff would garner much attention here on DA anyways.   I've got a few other drawings that I've started and are nearly completed that I need to go ahead and finish and post here.  As for Clip Studio...I'm starting to get the hang of it!  It's got a few sweet features that I like better than PS and the colors look more vibrant for some reason.

But enough about that...I'm back and so are my girls!  Since it was difficult getting inspiration for stuff to draw, I figured I'd draw my top characters and a remake of ...if you aren't familiar with my OC's from left to right is Dr. Jetta Chambers aka "Techna", Sapphira Reese, and my flagship character herself Adora-1.  I wanted to include Raina Hunter in there like the original, but I ran out of space!  And as you also see, I swapped Jetta out with Angie, who I realize I haven't done anything with her in quite some time!  I really like how this came out and if nothing else I see much improvement on all fronts from when I did the original 5 years ago!

As I said, I've got several pieces that I've been working on that are all nearly done, so hopefully this will keep the artistic floodgates open here on DA.  And I also hope to get more stories going as well to accompany the art for those of you that enjoy reading about my OC's!
