FFF Project: Tammie Doster

Yes yes, y'all...ya don't stop!!! It's Wednesday, and I'm trying to get back to doing my Triple F Featured Fighter Gal of the week that I started back in January as a way of introducing many of my characters that I've created over the years on the create-a-character features on various wrestling/fighting games over the years that I've never drawn or haven't drawn a lot. I hope to re-dedicate myself to at least doing one a week...I will shoot for every Wed, but as long as I can get at least one gal a week, that will suit me just fine!

And this week, I would like to re-introduce a really cool character and one of the Triple F's elite fighters...standing in a B-Girl Stance it's "The Brooklyn B-Girl" Tammie Doster!!! Tammie's a very talented gal...a proverbial rose that grew up between the concrete cracks of the mean streets of Brooklyn NYC! She was once a troubled ghetto youth headed in the wrong direction, yet her love for Hip Hop music helped her realize that there's more to life than what we only see....Hip Hop literally saved her life! She is a living, breathing piece of Hip Hop and is involved in all 4 main elements of Hip Hop...she's a DJ (Scratchin' ), she can rap (Rhymin' ), she's dabbled a bit in graffiti a bit in her youth (Taggin' ), and she's an excellent B-Girl...breakdancers are called "B-Boys" or "B-Girls" to those of you that aren't well-versed in Hip Hop (Breakin' ). Her love for Hip Hop aside...she's a MONSTER in the Triple F arena, as she's held multiple championships and titles...she's a 3 time former Ultimate Champion and is one half of the most decorated Duo Team in Triple F history "Brooklyn's Finest" with her best friend "The Headbanger" Deena Cavoletti...they are also a part of an Indy/underground Trip-Hip band that goes by the name "Sex N' Violence". Tammie's one tough cookie that you don't wanna piss off, or you'll catch a Brooklyn Beatdown!

Tamera Shantae Doster (Pronounced TAM-MER-RA, not TA-MARE-RA, SHAWN-TAY DAWS-TER). She used to go by Tam, but now she prefers Tammie.

"The Brooklyn B-Girl", "The Cobra"...that was her ring name when she was a heel/bad girl years ago; she doesn't really use that one anymore, "MC/DJ Tammie D" (Her Emcee/Rapper name), "B-Girl Tamdizzie" (Her B-Girl Name...she earned that name b/c she likes to spin around a lot when breakdancing)

9) Fighting style?
First and foremost, Tammie's a street fighter...she learned her initial brawling style from fighting on the mean streets of Brooklyn as a teen and young adult. After awhile, she began to incorporate her breakdancing moves and such into her fighting style...her fighting began to look a little like a variation of the Brazilian martial art Capoeiria. She was eventually taken in by the same man that saved Sapphira Reese from going to jail, and both of them along with a few other gals were subjected to genetic augmentation and enhancement treatments and also trained in various different fighting disciplines. Tammie continued to use her hybrid street fighting/breakdancing style and also began using a lot of slams in her fighting. Over time, she refined her fighting style and it remains one of the more unorthodox styles utilized in the Triple F...Tammie calls her style of fighting "Brooklyn Style"

"The Bed-Stuy Funeral March" (Scissor/Axe kick to back of bending opponent's head followed by Tammie doing a helicopter head/backspin or a "spinaroonie" to a standing position, "The Broken Record" (Inverted spinning neckbreaker cutter/the testdrive neckbreaker), "The Crooklyn Hangover" (Somersault Leg Drop from an elevated level/The Houston Hangover), "The Suicide-Freeze Plunge" (Tiger Driver from the top rope), Flying Scissors Side Kick, Spinning Helicopter Handstand kick (Think Chun-Li's Spinning Bird Kick, but Tammie plants her hands on the ground and stays in place when she does it), Moonsault to drop kick, The Brooklyn Beatdown (A flurry of repeated punches, kicks, and stomps done in a brutal fashion)

11) Stable/Group Affiliations: Tammie is Co-Captain of "The Wyldcardz" stable along with Angie Santana, Deena Cavoletti, Miko Takana, and Melba Marchand. Tammie is also one half of "Brooklyn's Finest" with Deena Cavoletti...they hold the record of most Duo Title reigns at 9 times.

Outside of the Triple F, Tammie is a part of several different groups pertaining to her involvement in Hip Hop culture. She's the house DJ and a rapper to a Trip-Hop band called "Sex N' Violence" along with her partner and best friend Deena Cavoletti (Lead Vocals and Lead Guitar), her twin brother Tameron bka "MC Shock" (Rapper), Deena's boyfriend "Scuzzy" (Bass), and Drummer/Percussionist and fellow Wyldcard member Melba Marchand. They have a cult following in NYC and have played many venues around the city...their sound can be described as if Trip Hop/Electronica band Portishead were mixed with Hip Hop band The Roots. Tammie's also a part of the "Indubitable Skillz Crew" when it come to her breakdancing skills.

12) Face (Good girl), Heel (Bad girl), or Tweener (Netural)?
Tammie's a Tweener with Face tendencies...she will break the rules when she needs to, but for the most part Tammie's a good gal.

13) Enemies?
Tammie's nemesis is none other than Sapphira Reese. Tammie actually used to be a part of "The Flatlinerz" with Sapphira as the stable captain years ago and the two of them could never get along. Tammie won her first Ultimate Champion title reign as a member of "The Flatlinerz" and Sapphira was none too please by that, as she was jealous and wanted the title for herself. Tammie decided that she had enough of Sapphira and left the group, but Sapphira had conspired to jump Tammie and brutally beat her down. Tammie eventually got her revenge on Sapphira. A few years later, Sapphira beat Tammie for the Ultimate Championship. They haven't crossed each other's paths in a while, but there is no love lost between the two women.

Tammie also has a little grudge with Jennifer Williams stemming back from her days when she was a heel as a member of "The Flatlinerz". They used to have some brutal fights, and one time Tammie ambushed Jennifer outside of the ring. Since then, they have buried the hatchet...but Tammie still doesn't really care too much for Jennifer; the feeling is mutual for Jen. And "The Storm Warning" (Sheena and Nina Storm) are Tammie's and her partner Deena's rivals in the Duo Division..."The Storm Warning" are right behind "Brooklyn's Finest" with Duo Championship reigns with 8.

Appearance
1)Tammie is 5'10", weights 147 lbs., has dark brown hair that she usually wears in a side ponytail. Her eyes are brown and she has a light brown complexion.

Tammie is a very pretty girl...she's a tomboy, yet still feminine. She doesn't wear a lot of make-up and she doesn't really ever do anything fancy with her hair. She does like wearing big hoop earrings, however. She loves dressing in Hip Hop/Urban clothing...and her favorite thing to wear is a Track Suit, tanktop, and a nice pair of sneakers...she's a sneaker nut! She's very well built but still curvy, thanks in part to staying in shape with her breakdancing (it's VERY strenuous) and also from her genetic enhancements that she underwent several years ago...her legs and arms are especially toned and well-defined.

She often has a cocksure "devil may care" smug look on her face...she comes off and looks like she might be a bitch, but Tammie's actually really cool and down to earth...especially for a native New Yorker! But she still is a native New Yorker, and can come across a bit abrasive at times...especially to those that aren't used to how New Yorkers are.

2) Is your character considered normal in his/her own world?
For the most part, yes. She's your quintessential B-Girl, or as LL Cool J once put it, she's an "Around The Way Girl". Only thing is, she's a superhuman...she does her best to try to keep it under wraps, but in some instances she just can't.

3) What would be her most recognizable feature(s)?
Tammie's most recognizable feature is probably her strong legs...she's got thighs of steel! And she has a few tattoos here and there.

African-American

PERSONALITY
1) Temper?
Tammie's a native New Yorker...she's got a hothead! To her it's just her takin' care of business, but she come's across as impatient and a bit mean to folks that aren't used to her ways. Once you really get to know her, she's really cool and very down to earth.

2) Does your character ever get depressed?
Tammie's a product of her environment, which is the ghetto...she's really emotionally strong due to her upbringing. She's kept her head up through some very rough times in her life...it takes a whole lot to depress her, and even if she is depressed she hides it very well.

3) Leader or Follower?
She's more of the leader type...if no one follows her, then she just deals with it!

4) What is the main aspect(s) of her personality?
Tammie is, for the most part, a laid back and chilled person. After you peel away her "New Yorker" layer, she's very down to earth and easy to get along with. She's all absorbed into Hip Hop...it shapes her very being. She's very deep...she has written many poems and rhymes that reveal just how deep she really is.

2) Did your OC have a family of any sort? If so, are they still alive?
Yes...Tammie's mother is Eunice Doster, who raised Tammie and her twin brother as a single mother. Tammie has never met her father, and doesn't ever want to. Tameron Shakim Doster (pronounced Tam-Mer-Run Shock-Kim), better known as "Shock", is Tammie younger fraternal twin by 10 minutes. Tammie and Shock are and have always been really tight and they talk to one another on a daily basis. Brianna Doster is Tammie's young niece and Shock's daughter....Tammie loves Brianna to death!

2) Is your character out on her own? If so, why?
Yes...growing up in the hood will make you grown up and mature quick.

3) Has he/she encountered any traumatizing events?
Tammie has seen several of her close friends either die, go to jail, or get hooked on drugs....it's all a part of the ghetto life that she once was in. It's traumatic, but she just dealt with it as it came.

ROMANCE
1) Single?
Kinda...she has an on-again off-again relationship with her long-time boyfriend and fellow B-Boy by the name of Eric Johnson, BKA his B-Boy moniker, Strikemaster EJ

2) Has your OC developed any romantic relationships?
Yes...see above answer.

3) Virgin?
No.

4) Does your character like flirting?
Yes....especially when she's battling someone on the dance floor. She'll contort and put herself into all sorts of suggestive positions against male breakdancers to throw them off of their game!

RANDOMIZE!
1) Is your character wanted for anything?
Tammie was once a troubled youth with a rap sheet of many different petty crimes...Seth Candor took her as one of his "Dolls" and had her crimes stricken from the records.

2) What are some of her weaknesses?
Tammie isn't as fast as some of the other Triple F fighters and she doesn't defend well against submission holds and such. And she puts a lot of force behind her moves, which if dodged/blocked leaves her wide open for counterattacks.

3) Strengths?
Tammie is deceivingly strong! She's one of the physically strongest competitors in the Triple F and is the queen of Knockouts...she has more KO's than anyone in the Triple F, Human or Cyborg Division. Plus her hybrid "Brooklyn Style" of fighting is unorthodox and really hard to predict/counter against.

4) Does your OC drink or smoke (ect.)?
She might have a drink every once in a while, but she doesn't smoke at all.

5) What's one quirk about her?
Tammie LOVES sneakers! She especially loves ol' skool style sneakers, such as Pumas, Shell-Toed Adidas, Chuck Taylor style Converse, New Balances, and Nike Cortez aka "Bullet-toes". She has a whole closet of nothing but sneakers and they all are in their special designated order.

Tammie is multi-talented within the realm of Hip Hop culture...however her strongest talents are her breakdancing and her turntablism/DJ-ing skills. She's a beast when on the 1's and 2's (turntables)...she has won many DJ competitions. In her spare time, she loves going to record stores and such to "dig in the crates" (shop for old, obscure records) She has also won several Breakdancing competitions both with her Crew and by herself. Her goal is to one day start her own record label that focuses on making truly good music, not just selling records and making hits.

6) Does your character have any phobias?
Not really...Tammie's a really tough gal!

7) What could you do to get him/her into a blind rage?
If anyone messed with her family members.

8) What does she wear to bed?
A tanktop, her panties, a pair of socks, and a bandana on her head so as not to mess up her hair!

The Final Question:
What would you consider your relationship with your character to be like?
I love all different types of music...if it sounds good, I like it regardless of what genre. However, I'm a HUGE Hip Hop fan....Hip Hop (TRUE HIP HOP, not that garbage that they play on the radio) music and it's culture is a huge part of who I am and has helped shape and molded me into the person that I am today. Hip Hop is in my top 5 list of things that I love the most in my life...probably even in my top 3 list! Tammie is basically what Hip Hop would be if it were personified...think of Common's song I Used To Love H.E.R. [link] or The Roots and Common's Act Too (The Love of My Life) [link] There are 4 Elements to Hip Hop Culture: Breakin' , Taggin' , Rhymin' , and Scratchin' and Tammie is proficient in all four...especially Breakin' and Scratchin'.

Tammie was originally just supposed to be a "jobber" character when she was first created...for those of you that aren't wrestling fans, a jobber is someone that is purposely supposed to lose and make their opponent look really good and dominant. Once I created Sapphira, I decided to make Tammie a part of Sapphira group of bad girls along with Deena Cavoletti, Sara Kincade, Erica Dunn, and Feris Wilder...eventually, I began to really like Tammie and Deena and decided to bring them out from behind Sapphira's shadow. I made Tammie champion and had her turn Face/good gal and later had Deena do the same, as I decided that they were a great fit together as a Duo. I haven't been paying Tammie a lot of attention in the past few years, especially since Angie has been garnering lots of attention here on DA, but I might have to change that!
