Adora-1_Color

Here is probably my oldest original character of mine Adora-1, dating back to when I was in elementary school. (that was 20+ years ago!) The original lines to this [link] is also the very first deviation that I posted of my artwork and is fast closing on my most viewed deviation thus far. I was browsing through my own stuff last night and came across this. Since I've been getting better at my colors, and I didn't really feel like starting a new piece today, I'd figure I'd go back and give this one a shot. Thanks again to the gradient tool to give it somewhat of a background!

As for Adora-1 herself, yes....I took her name directly from Princess Adora of She-Ra fame. She's come a long way in 20 something years....she started out as a mutant (in the X-Men sense of a mutant, not a mutation) with super powers and has been involved in much combat. Somewhere along the lines, she started receiving cybernetic parts here and there until she became a highly skilled full bodied cyborg warrior. As for her design, there are no frills....I just wanted her to have a simple chromed-out cyborg body.

I need to go back and revamp her backstory, b/c as a kid I used her in all kind of adventures either with my toys, as other characters on video games, with my drawings, and even in my imagination. She has a few other characters that both my best friend and I created in Adora's world that I should go back and draw out. I'm been considering making this [link] Adora before receiving her cyborg body. I'm not sure yet.

Damn, I love my cyborg women!!!

*Update* I went back and changed her color scheme, as I already had a few characters with the old silver shade. Hope you like this darker metallic shade!
